Is it ok to set up rules for swinging?
Many couples set up rules for themselves so that each partner understands what is and is not acceptable. This is an excellent idea, especially for beginning couples to safeguard against hurting someone’s feelings. Rules can be anything from no oral, to no pain, to same room sex only, rules should be created so each partner is comfortable with their play in the lifestyle. We even knew one couple that had an anal sex only rule for the female. The husband didn’t want anyone else inside of her pussy, but we was ok with others having anal sex with her. Several years later, they droped that rule.
Rules should be explained to other couples that you plan to be with, they need to know what is expected. Don’t be afraid to change your rules as you experience the lifestyle more and more. Most couples start out with a few rules, and then they change and change again.
For the longest time Bruce and I have had one main rule, that at the end of the night we have sex with each other before we go to sleep.
